While the cooling season is beginning to diminish, now is the time to be thinking about
the heating season and getting your HVAC system checked before energizing the heat
mode. There are several important checks that should be performed and they are:
–inspect heat exchanger for corrosion / rust through
–prove all safety devices / switches
–inspect flue pipe for blockage from animals or insects
–prove electric heat is functioning properly
–evaporator coil cleanliness
These are just several of the important checks made. Also, now is a great time to make
upgrades and improvements to your system. These may include duct inspection, better
air filtration or adding Indoor Air Quality devices.
