Meet Our Staff
President & Owner
Carl started the business in 2006 with a vision to help others with quality work, great customer service and fair pricing. Each year the company has grown through word of mouth because of his continued commitment to doing his best. We thank him for his service in the US Army. During his time in the Army he found his soul mate. They have been together for 22 years raising their family. In his free time he loves the outdoors, camping, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.
Co-Owner and account assistant
Heidi is the co-owner and accounts assistant with Carl’s Quality Cooling and Heating LLC. She has worked along side her husband doing various duties since the business started while also raising their two boys. Heidi and Carl met while serving in the Army as food service specialists in the 203 rd Forward Support Battalion in Fort Benning, GA. First having a love for cooking food to later a love for each other. They have been married for over 23 years and both their boys are on their own and working for the company. They are proud of the family Carl’s Quality Cooling and Heating LLC has grown into and love to help those with air conditioning and heating needs. Outside of work she enjoys church involvement, riding bikes, swimming, outdoor activities, and being with family and friends.
Thor is our company mascot. He is involved in our everyday operations. You can find him out in the yard securing our property, barking to let us know we have a delivery or sneaking into the office looking for some love.
Field Service Supervisor
George brings more than 30 years HVAC/R experience to the company. George enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, church and extended family. He and his wife also enjoy fostering children and traveling when time allows.
Laney came to us straight out of highschool as one of our dispatchers. Over the years she has taken on the roles of inventory manager and AP/AR, she is now our Office Administrator. When Laney is not working she loves spending time with her family.
Residential Design Consultant
Justin is a born-and-raised Texan and second generation HVAC professional. He is trained in system and duct design, indoor air quality, and the principals of home comfort. He is fully equipped to give you all the information you need to make an informed decision about your HVAC needs.
When Justin is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife (Alysia) and four children (Judah, Penelope, Noah, and Asher), reading, teaching the youth at his church, woodworking, and being outdoors.
Joe is the oldest son of Carl and Heidi. He has been involved in the industry ever since he was able to help out his Dad. Joe’s first official role in the company started with scrapping old air conditioning units and has worked his way up from there in various positions such as, delivery driver, warehouse manager, technician, lead technician, and now estimator. He is planning on continuing to work hard and eventually take over the family company.
Joe is married to his beautiful wife Rebecca and had his first child in late 2020. He loves to spend time with his family.
Bethany comes to us with over 10 years in customer services experience and it shows with the sense of pride she brings to the table. Bethany comes to work every day with her bubbly, energetic personality that shows in everything she does. Bethany is a dog lover and has 4 rescues who she spoils daily. When she is not spoiling her dogs, Bethany enjoys taking rides on their motorcycle and working on her classic truck. Bethany is also an avid hunter and enjoys doing it every year with her family at their property in East Texas.
Issac started with the company as warehouse helper and worked into the position service technician. Customers say great things about him. He is a car enthusiast and animal lover. He enjoys problem solving, working with his hands and challenging his creativity. Some of his favorite pastimes include auto mechanics, woodworking and spending time with his family.
Isaac has lived in Texas most of his life. Coming from a family of tradesmen, Isaac has been exposed to a multitude of trades. Isaac started his career 23 years ago as an Automotive and Motorcycle Technician. Then began his career as a Heating and Air Conditioning Service Technician in 2016.
Isaac takes pride in the work he provides by keeping a positive attitude and making sure he keeps things clean when working in the customer’s home.
In his spare time, he enjoys making custom forged knives for his own company Crossroad Forge, LLC. You can also find him enjoying time with his wife and two daughters.
Ambrose grew up in the country learning to be self sufficient. He worked on a variety of projects. Being a lover of nature and history Ambrose studied ecology and historical preservation in college. Ambrose spent several years working for Uncle Sam before finding his home in Texas. In his spare time he and his wife Kati run their nonprofit animal rescue, Bears Etc. (http://www.bearsetc.org). He provides warehouse and service support for Carl’s Quality.
Adam started his career as a heavy line technician and has worked on everything from Cadillacs to 18 wheelers to heavy equipment. Adam has been in the HVAC field for 7 years and strives for excellence and quality of work as well as great customer service and honesty. He is married and is a loving and caring father to six beautiful children. When he’s not spending time with family he’s usually busy helping friends or working on his trucks and 55 belair. He is also the owner/operator of a heavy transport service in his spare time away from Carl’s.
Isaiah is the son of Carl and Heidi and is a graduate of Lifestyle Christian School and is preparing to start college. His major will be English with a minor of secondary teaching. He works as staff support in both the installation and service fields. He enjoys reading, watching movies and listening to music.
Business Development Manager
Taylor has experience collaborating closely across design and disciplines, in an effort to find ways to make complex information and interaction as simple as possible. In his spare time, Taylor can be found knitting by the fire on a cold winter night, or beating the heat with a canoe on the open water.
Senior Commercial Installation Consultant
Francis started his career in the HVAC trade at an early age of 17. He served in the military before going on in the public sector to further his career and love of the industry. He currently oversees major commercial new construction installations. In his free time he spends it with family and friends.
Residential Installation Crew Lead
Freddy has worked in the oilfield for over 12 years but was laid off due to Covid-19. He saw this as an opportunity for a new venture and chose the HVAC industry. Freddy loves to learn new skills and expand his knowledge and is excited for what this trade has in store for him. Freddy loves to spend his free time with his wife and daughter. They love to travel, visit food trucks, and mountain bike together.
Elvis has worked in the HVAC trade for 20 years and has been with Carl’s for over 10 years. He prides himself on always delivering exceptional work. He has a wonderful family and has been married for 22 years and has 4 boys.
Parts & Warehouse Manager
Donnie was born in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil and was raised in Roswell, New Mexico. He has lived in the Houston area for over 20 years. Donnie has been married for 24 years and has a son who attends high school and a daughter who attends college at L.S.U. Donnie has an extensive work history that consists of customer service and inventory control. Besides his family, his passions are writing, music and The Dallas Cowboys!
Assistant Warehouse Manager / Driver
Steven has vast experience in delivery, warehouse operations, and shipping and receiving. He always has an upbeat attitude and enjoys making others smile. He is a dedicated husband and father and loves spending his free time with his family. He IS the hokey pokey champion!
Commercial Installation Crew Chief
Abraham was born, raised, and educated in Mexico. He acquired basic electrical skills in middle school, then completed an electrician program in high school. In college, Abraham graduated as a Computer System Engineer and soon afterwards started a small business selling custom built computers.
Abraham moved to Houston to support his wife’s teaching career where he was introduced to commercial HVAC and was able to apply his electrical and technological knowledge.
In his free time, Abraham enjoys fixing computers, watching sports, and spending time with his wife Carolina, daughter Chloé and his three dogs.
Commercial Install Lead
Darien started his career in the automotive industry and became ASE certified for automotive in school. Darien served in the Army Reserves for 6 years working as a wheeled vehicle mechanic. Darien has been in the HVAC trade since 2014.
Darien’s hobbies include car audio, welding and fabrication, machining, woodworking, and working on his trucks.
Wesley grew up in Houston and graduated highschool in Magnolia. Wesley used to be a residential handyman for many years but decided to change paths and make a career in HVAC. His hobbies include: playing the guitar, shooting pool and trying to improve his work abilities by learning as much as he can in the HVAC trade. Wesley strives to be best in everything he can do.
